In many situations business cards provide a big part of the first impression for you and/or your business. The modern business cards of this era have really evolved from what traditional cards looked like just a decade ago. As high-end silk cards are gaining popularity because of their smooth finish and other superior qualities, many business men are also choosing to use descriptive pictures on cards to accentuate personality traits and a general personal image that is desired.
As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words. In this post I want to present five of the manliest images for creating manly business cards. If you have a macho image that needs to be maintained or enhanced and you are evaluating potential images for creating a manly businesses card, here are five of the manliest images for your consideration.
Ok, one of my favorites is a profile of the side of a truck or even a close up of the front end of a macho looking semi truck. For me, the very thought of a manly semi truck conjures up memories of the famous song “Convoy” by C.W. McCall. For those of the younger generation, that song came out in the 70′s and it motivated a movie starring Kris Kristofferson as “Rubber Duck.” It was directed by Sam Peckinpah. This image is particularly appropriate if you work for a trucking company or moving company.
Let’s face it, few images are more manly that that of a boxer. Whether your favorite is someone like Muhammad Ali, George Foreman or Mike Tyson a boxer will present a macho image. For those wanting a little more of a vintage and gentlemanly look an image of the legendary John L. Sullivan would provide a nice touch.
America has been having a love affair with cowboys and western movies for decades. Having a cowboy on a card provides a rugged look. It could be generic looking or even look a little like one of your favorites. John Wayne and Clint Eastwood both represent a no-nonsense, don’t mess with me aspect of manliness.
If there is anything more rugged than a boxer or cowboy it would have to be a Neanderthal man. You can also have a little humor in your macho look now that the wildly successful GEICO commercials have integrated this prehistoric guy into modern society.
Colorful people like Blackbeard, Captain Kid and Henry Morgan have given the world some vivid images of manly individualism and the “I live life on my own terms” philosophy. The image of a pirate will make a card stand out from a typical business card. There is no limit to the number of creative ways that these and other manly images can be in integrated into some really classy cards that project the kind of image you want to have.
